The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) joined the roundtable event \u201cTriple-Helix Circular Economy Synergies,\u201d an innovative platform fostering collaboration among public institutions, the private sector, and academia.<\/p>\n

\nThe event was held in the framework of the \u201cResearch Expertise from the Academic Diaspora\u201d (READ) project, supported by the Albanian-American Development Foundation (AADF).
\nAKBN\u2019s participation in this roundtable highlights its ongoing commitment to promoting sustainable development and circular economy practices in Albania, through joint efforts with key stakeholders in policy, business, and scientific research.<\/p>\n

\nThis roundtable brought together key stakeholders from various fields, including representatives from governmental institutions, the private sector, local and diaspora academics, as well as non-governmental organizations with the main objective: promoting sustainable and innovative practices toward a greener circular economy.<\/p>\n

\nMr. Sofjan Jaupaj, Deputy Minister of Tourism and Environment, emphasized Albania\u2019s commitment to European Union integration and the importance of Chapter 27, highlighting the critical role of education and collaboration among stakeholders in supporting the green transition. As one of the key actors, the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) reaffirmed its dedication to supporting initiatives that promote a greener and more innovative approach to economic and environmental development.<\/p>\n

The discussions were focuded on critical issues, including the transformative role of education in advancing sustainable development models; the adaptation of international best practices to local contexts; and the strategic engagement of the diaspora in leveraging global expertise to contribute to Albania\u2019s economic growth.<\/p>\n
