In 2024, the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) has continued its monitoring process for hydropower plants in the energy production phase, in Kor\u00e7\u00eb, Elbasan and Berat districts. These monitoring processes have remained consistent, despite challenging weather conditions, highlighting AKBN\u2019s commitment to ensuring the safe and sustainable operation of HPPs in Albania.<\/p>\n

\nAs part of this Monitoring Process, AKBN issued the Annual Monitoring Certificates in collaboration with HPP\u2019s clean energy producers. These certificates reflect the adherence of the energy producers to rigorous quality and high sustainability standards.<\/p>\n

\nIn cooperation with the energy producers, the National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) has evaluated the physical condition of Hydropower Plant\u2019s infrastructure and provided necessary recommendations for improvements, if necessary. AKBN remains committed to continuous supervision and the enhancement of HPPs infrastructure ensuring sustainable and safe energy production.<\/p>\n
